About the artist
Hello, I’m Carrie Kilgore, a beadweaving artist of vessels and boxes. My bead work keeps my mind and hands active, as I am unable to work outside my home due to progressive disability, a late effect of having had polio as a child. Each design is unique, personally designed, never documented or repeated. I do, however, accept custom requests whenever possible – I can make a new unique box based on a previous design if desired.

Because I am focusing my energy on the artwork and because I am occasionally out-of-commission, so to speak, my daughter has agreed to act as my “manager.” Her name is Amy Wing, and you will see much of her! Considering she has her own online business, as well, you can imagine she’s a busy girl!
My son, Stephen, and daughter-in-law, Anna (“my Anna”), are also a huge help – Anna assists with palette selection and they both photograph my work through their professional digital photography studio, Liquid Shutter. All three kids help list my work in my shop.
